CFWL Foundation Scholarship Fund

The Central Florida Women's League Foundation (CFWLF) has established a Scholarship Fund which provides scholarships to deserving young women from four Orange County High Schools. Applicants must be senior high school women at Dr. Phillips, Ocoee, Olympia and/or West Orange High School. Scholarship money will be awarded on the basis of an individual’s character, scholastic achievements, community service and financial need.

The scholarship recipient will have the benefit of a non-renewable scholarship to an accredited institution of higher learning; i.e., two-year community college, four-year college or university, in the United States. It shall be payable in the year immediately following high school graduation, must be used by August of the year following graduation, and must be used for the purpose of tuition, room and board and/or books. Exceptions to this must have prior approval from the current CFWLF board and will be determined on an individual basis. The Foundation may, at its discretion, offer additional non-renewable scholarships of lesser and varying amounts to other applicants within the same scholarship year period.

All CFWLF scholarship applications must be completed online and essay, transcripts, recommendation letters and financial information uploaded to our website by  February 6, 2017.
